Badger Math Story
Badger Math began with a simple problem: traditional math curriculums were not effectively aligned to the skills students needed to succeed, and our results showed it. Teachers in our district realized that without a curriculum truly connected to the expectations students were being measured on, we were working harder than necessary—and students weren’t getting the long-term learning they deserved.
Through years of PLC collaboration, data analysis, and classroom reflection, we began to identify instructional strategies that consistently produced higher levels of student learning. Spaced instruction, predictable routines, cumulative assessments, and integrated content quickly emerged as powerful drivers of student success.
What started as teacher-created lessons gradually evolved—refined year after year through classroom testing, feedback, and ongoing professional learning. Over more than a decade, this work transformed into a fully developed, teacher-built curriculum that is practical, consistent, and deeply aligned to the skills students need.
Badger Math is written by teachers, for teachers. It is classroom-tested, teacher-developed, and grounded in research and real student learning.
